MANILA, Philippines—Earlier this week, the Office of the Bar Confidant released a notice to inform the takers of the 2019 Bar Examinations that the results will be announced today.
As opposed to the traditional announcement and posting of names outside the halls of the Supreme Court, this year’s announcement takes a different route as the whole of Luzon is under an Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).
This time around, the Supreme Court will forego the traditional announcement. Instead, the results will be uploaded on its official website after an en banc session. In addition, Associate Justice Estela M. Perlas-Bernabe’s message as Chairperson for the 2019 Bar Examinations will likewise be uploaded on the website.
According to the said notice, the adopted method was in light of the government’s call for social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In this time of the pandemic, the Supreme Court expects everyone to wait for the examination results online.
